Weapon climbing shoes are among the most technically advanced models designed for demanding climbing. They are designed for situations where good technique is not enough – you need a shoe that can transfer maximum power to the toe and keep you on a hold that is only a few millimeters wide.
The basis of the construction is an asymmetrical last that precisely wraps around the foot and naturally directs pressure to the toe of the shoe. This allows you to stand on mini holes, small ledges, and micro-steps, where the success of the entire route is decided.
The Weapon model uses lace-up fastening, which allows for precise tightening along the entire length of the foot. This allows climbers to adjust the optimal combination of comfort and performance according to their climbing style or the difficulty of the route.
One of the details that is not immediately apparent is the sophisticated heel construction. The sawtooth shape of the sole in the heel area provides greater confidence during technical maneuvers such as the so-called "sky heel" – i.e., hooking the heel in overhanging terrain.
Inside the shoe, there is a combination of BUFOTEX lining and BUFFLEX (0.8 mm) / DURABLEX (1.1 mm) midsoles. These layers help balance sensitivity and stability – the shoe remains sensitive to the rock, but also provides support under load.
Contact with the rock is provided by the Vibram UTOPIA SPD2 Ultra Grip sole, which is one of the most grippy climbing rubbers available. Combined with the precise shape of the shoe, it creates a tool that is ready for both sport and technical climbing.
Of course, the shoes are 100% Czech-made, with an emphasis on high-quality materials and long life.
