Matyáš Žďárský was a Czech mountaineer and skier who was the first to use sleeping bags in the Alps at the turn of the 19th century.
And it was tested in Mexico. Below are some great photos by Pavel Bosák.

Kaluu v Mexiku
Ždárák se mi osvědčil. V Mexiku bylo vedro, takže jsem ho mnohdy měl místo spacáku a spal jen v něm. Dnes jsem ho použil na zahradě ve větší zimě, je fain, že dýchá - na spacáku bylo pár fleků od vlhkosti, ale uvnitř pocitově v pohodě. Skvělá je ta kapuce - u jiných ždáráků jsem tam často viděl nějakou šňůrku, toto je lepší. Ještě ho potřebuji vyzkoušet v nějakém mírnějším dešti.
