Self-inflating
Self-inflating mattresses offer great insulation and comfort. They are suitable for sleeping in cold weather. The core is porous perforated foam. When the valve is opened, it expands and sucks in air. It does not inflate completely, however, it must be deflated. Ideally with a pump, you get moist air into the mattress by mouth.
