Polar jacket has the trademark "Tested in Antarctica" since 2023. Masaryk University awards it to technologies or products that have been tested and withstood extreme conditions at the Czech scientific station J. G. Mendel on James Ross Island in Antarctica. The University grants the possibility to use the trademark only to products and technologies that have fulfilled the characteristics declared by the manufacturer, even in the environment of the polar station.

Anatomical and loose fit.
Strong, abrasion-resistant fabric. Waterproof, highly vapour permeable and windproof.
Hood with reinforced visor is large enough for a helmet, you can pack it as a collar. Adjustable in 3 places, in the wind the drawcord does not massage your face. Loops inside and outside.
WR (waterproof) zippers with a "garage" for the rider, lined flap, solid chin and neck protection. Chin-raised collar front keeps neck warm.
Sleeves cut out, velcro around wrists for easy one-handed pull down. Anatomically shaped elbows.
SHZ main waterproof bone zipper is 2-way. Zippers are not glued - honestly sewn and then taped.
Outer strap for hanging the jacket.
Vents are located on the sides - you can warm your hands close to your body and they are easier to handle. Zippers are a different color (to avoid confusion with the pocket).
More pronouncedly extended back, in the sides you adjust the internal brake.
Lower hand pockets. With internal "sub-pocket" for glasses.
Chest pocket on the left with external access, on the right with internal access.
There is a pocket on the forearm of the left sleeve, the size of a passport, notepad... WR zipper closure.
Czech flag is on the left chest, size 4 x 2,5 cm.
On the right chest you will find the red Faramugo logo.
There is a printed label on the reverse. In addition to the usual markings, you can use a pen to write your name, phone number, etc.

2 - 3 months of wearing the jacket corresponds to more than 3 years of wearing it in the usual way. Moreover - 14.000 km, that's how long the jacket, made in the Czech Republic, has to travel. Rain or snow. The wind blows strong, changing strength and direction. It carries with it abrasive, sand and sea salt. Temperatures change rapidly, from sweatshirt values, above zero, to severe frosts around -20°C. Due to the weak ozone layer, there is intense UV radiation, damaging, among other things, the fabric structure. This is what a short Antarctic summer looks like, and this is what Expedition jackets have to withstand.
In Antarctica, the negative impact of human activity is minimised. This makes it unique among the continents. Polar explorers take all their rubbish back home. Renewable energy sources are preferred. Therefore, even the clothing must meet the strictest environmental standards and demands on the quality of material and workmanship. Read more:

V Norsku bylo -22C mel jsem 3 vrstvu Icewar bundu a na ni 4 vrstvu od Vás bundu a byl jsem jak Alenka v říši divů. Maximální spokojenost.
